It was tough and there were times that I really wanted to splurge but my friend was great about helping me keep on track. I mean, I was living on nothing practically. No cable, no eating out. After six months, even after adding a few back a few goodies at two and four months, I was still keeping to my budget. I managed to pay off all my student debt and credit cards in a little over two years and my credit score jumped.
